Creating a blog has been on my to-do list for at least a year now. Today is the day that I finally sit down and start documenting our journey through life. As I am sitting here and typing I can not believe all the things that I have missed writing about over the past year and a half of our lives. Today marks a year and a half of marriage! Mark and I can not believe that time has flown by this fast, and we are shocked to see how many things have changed in that short time frame. In August we moved from Tampa, FL to State College, PA. We are currently working for the Navigators as campus ministers at Penn State. We have enjoyed our time here so far, and are still adjusting to the new city, culture, and climate.
Even though we have only been here for a month and a half State College feels more like home than Tampa ever did. We have met so many wonderful people and they have welcomed us with open arms. We are starting to get into a routine here and are loving the work that we are doing. Meeting with students is so exciting and encouraging!!! Mark was in charge of the Barn Dance for the Navigators this past weekend. It was a lot of work, but we had so much fun. We had games, chili, and square dancing for the students and staff to enjoy. We have been very busy since we arrived and we are glad that our time and hard work is going toward something that we are so passionate about and love! I wish I had more time to write about all that is going on in our lives, but I believe this short update will give you an idea about what our lives are like right now. I hope to be back soon with more fun info on our new world :)
